2025 NATURE LECTURE SERIES
AT RODGERS RANCH

Picture

Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center is hosting a nature lecture series featuring naturalist Michael Marchiano who will speak on local flora and wildlife.
Born in Berkeley and raised in Concord, Michael has been studying plants and animals in California for over 60 years.  He has mentored many state park docents, led several guided hikes, and shared his experiences and tales of Mount Diablo’s wonders with audiences all over the Bay Area.  In 2020 he was added to the Mount Diablo Interpretive Association Hall of Fame.  We are fortunate to have him as a speaker.

Michael will give three lectures in May and June as a part of this introductory series:
  • Mammals on Sunday, June 1, 1:00-2:00pm
  • Butterflies on Wednesday June 18, 7:00-8:00pm
  • Birds on Sunday, July 13 1:00-2:00pm
The ticket fees for each lecture are $15 for the general public and $10 for members of Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center. One (1) child under 10 years old can accompany a paying adult for free.

The lectures will be held at Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center - 315 Cortsen Rd in Pleasant Hill.

Seats will be limited and will require pre-registration.  Please purchase your tickets below.
