Community Service Day and more!

The ranch was hopping today with lots of visitors, including Community Service Day volunteers (thank you all SO much for your help with weeding, trimming, and beautifying the grounds!); several Scouts families led by Daniel Ramirez for his Eagle Scout Project  (installing a new ramp at the farmhouse's back entrance, which was actually the original front entrance); and a mycology (mushroom) workshop, hosted by Rodgers Ranch Urban Farm and Bay Area Mycology Association. The Pleasant Hill City Channel visited and interviewed RRHC Board Members Denise Koroslev and Christian Rousset about plans for the barn, Harvest Festival on October 19, and more. We all greatly enjoyed having friends, neighbors, and volunteers spend their time with us and we appreciate all their hard work on the ranch!
