Last Saturday, November 14, about 35 members, friends, and board directors of RRHC gathered at the ranch for hot cider, wine, chicken soup in mason jars, and pumpkin pie as the board reviewed goals and accomplishments from 2015 and re-elected three board members: Denise Koroslev, Joseph Palmer, and Judie Palmer.
A cozy fire, comfort food, and good cheer warmed the room as board members told the crowd how much has transpired over the past year, including the installment of the new bench up on the hill in memory of RRHC founder Ellen Stevahn and the installation of the monument, with indispensable assistance from the Clampers . Another highlight was Christian's speech, which included updates on the barn project and a minute of silence for the recent tragedy in Paris. Throughout the event, guests and board members mingled on the wraparound porch and walked through the house, inspecting historic photos and architectural drawings of the future barn and discussing the site's plans for 2016. As everyone said their goodbyes, candles lighting the walkway escorted them into the night. P.S. Remember to mark your calendars for the Holiday Boutique Dec. 5 & 6, 10am - 4pm!
