Master gardener Marian Woodard presents a very special opportunity to learn the most effective, most natural, deeply earth-centered gardening practices in this 8- week series. No matter what size your yard is, you'll learn to be more self-sufficient, conserve water and energy, and build community with your fellow gardeners. Students will work on shaping and re-designing their own growing spaces throughout the class. You will see your yard in a whole new light! See flyer below and register today!
Last night, RRHC hosted it's annual meeting/membership appreciation "Winter Gathering" to inform members and "VIP friends" of upcoming activities at the ranch. Denise introduced the board, including its new members, Habiba Hall-Bey and Daniel Wagner, and told everyone of plans to raise the barn through various fundraising events. The board told everyone about upcoming events, happenings at the urban farm, this year's roster of sustainable workshops, and more! Guests enjoyed beer and wine, Steve's famous chili, Aloma's refreshing coleslaw, Denise's duo of blue and yellow cornbread, and crunchy biscotti. A good time was had by all. RRHC loves our members, neighbors and friends! Photos by Alison Clary
The Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center's Board of Directors is excited to use our blog, Ranch Posts, to keep members and the public informed of the latest activities at the ranch. We invite you to comment, ask questions, or muse on the heritage center, both its historical past and its thriving present.
