Farmer John of both Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center (RRHC) and Rodgers Ranch Urban Farm, a partner of RRHC, teaches a culinary course for DVC. Here's a wonderful YouTube video that takes place on site at the farm and in the kitchens of DVC in which he gives a sampling of teaching future chef students about "Farm to Table" practices. One of our partners, the Herb Society, recently installed a beautiful new Memory Garden by the large oak tree that is a lovely place for peaceful meditation. It is located directly behind the house and includes a rock stair path leading up to a grouping of rocks that encircles plants and a lovely bench, donated by former RRHC President and current Herb Society member, Denise Koroslev. Rodgers Ranch thanks the Herb Society and Denise for these wonderful additions to the grounds and invites visitors to check them out.
This blog keeps our members and the public informed of workshops and events at the ranch. We invite you to comment!
