Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center (RRHC) invites you to be a part of Rodgers Ranch history! We urgently need volunteers, especially new ones, to help with the current barn project.
We are on a strict deadline to remove and transport wood from the Martinez Barn
(c. 1890s) to RRHC before it is demolished forever and we lose a great opportunity to recycle this excellent redwood for Rodgers Ranch new barn. Our fabulous and friendly board member, Christian Rousset, is supervising volunteers several times a week and welcomes all volunteers.
We Need Volunteers To:
This week we will be at the barn:
For safety and comfort, we recommend you wear close-toed shoes, long pants, hat, and gloves. If you have a cordless drill, straight screwdriver, or hammer, please bring them along!
For volunteers who work the entire day on Sundays, we will provide water and box lunches!
During the week, please bring a sack lunch and water.
Please contact Alison Clary at (925) 932-2328 ASAP.
We’ll sign you up and give you more details. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!!
The Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center's Board of Directors is excited to use our blog, Ranch Posts, to keep members and the public informed of the latest activities at the ranch. We invite you to comment, ask questions, or muse on the heritage center, both its historical past and its thriving present.
