The sustainability movement in Contra Costa had its big night on September 21 at the Contra Costa Leadership in Sustainability & Green Building Awards, presented by Sustainable Contra Costa (SCOCO) at the Concord Hilton. SCOCO is a partner of RRHC. About 240 people gathered at the Hilton Concord for this award, fundraising, and community event. We are proud that the list of nominees included our own Denise Koroslev (Leadership in Sustainable Communities) and Marian Woodard (finalist, Leadership in Food System Innovation)! Congratulations, Denise and Marian! For the list of winners and full coverage of the event, go to www.SustainableCoCo.org
The Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center's Board of Directors is excited to use our blog, Ranch Posts, to keep members and the public informed of the latest activities at the ranch. We invite you to comment, ask questions, or muse on the heritage center, both its historical past and its thriving present.
