Orchard Supply Hardware's official grand opening was Saturday, Feb. 20, and they donated $5,000 to RRHC as part of their "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" program, contributing to local non-profits. President Denise Koroslev accepted the check and made a few remarks, thanking OSH for their support of sustainability, one of the ranch's guiding missions. Mayor Sue Noack, members of the Chamber of Commerce, and members of the RRHC board attended the 6:30am event, which involved not the usual ribbon cutting for a grand opening, but a board sawing! A surprising number of customers attended the early morning event, which included a DJ playing music on loudspeakers, a coffee stand, green balloons, $25 gift cards for the first 100 customers, free tote bags, and more. We are very grateful to Orchard Hardware and urge you to visit their beautiful new store! Photos courtesy of Denise Rousset

I am sure that it was a special day for everyone as Orchard Supply Hardware was officially launched. Instead of focusing on their opening day, they donated some fund as part of their "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" program. This is a good thing because we can see how compassionate they are. They weren’t just built and established just for themselves, but to help different programs that aim to help other people too as well. This is definitely a great thing!
