The Shellco Construction Company (not Ackman as previously mentioned) continues their daily work with the roofing project. The roof now lays bare in preparation for Phase 3, when the paper layer and composition shingles of the new roof will be installed. RRHC Board Members Christian Rousset and John Matthesen have also been working hard (especially in the steaming hot attic), drilling holes for the hood exhaust piping that will go from the new gas stove/oven through the kitchen ceiling and out the roof. They are also overhauling the kitchen pantry, preparing and painting the walls, shelves, and flooring. These renovations will greatly improve both the integrity and appearance of this 153 year old house!
